Empowering Families, Building your parenting tribe

Empowering Adults to Support Children of All Ages

Developing Parenting Efficacy. Fostering Caregiver Wellness. Building Your Parenting Tribe.

Being a parent is the best, hardest (most important!)  role you'll ever have. At Empowered, we support adults, so they can better support the children in their care.  We leverage a retreat and workshop model to provide families with the support, knowledge, and tools they need to strengthen their parenting skills—while also taking time to care for themselves.

Through this journey, we help caregivers build a community of support, while also prioritizing self-care—because when caregivers are emotionally well, they are better equipped to support their children.

Our retreats and workshops are designed with specialized focus areas, allowing you to choose the training that best fits your needs. Every workshop incorporates self-care education, practice, and play.

Caregivers who develop strong social-emotional skills are better able to nurture these same skills in their children.

Specializing in Supporting Children and Their Families Through All Phases of Development

At Empowered, we support ALL families and embrace thinking outside the box—it’s why we started this company!
Our diverse backgrounds allow us to specialize in guiding parents and caregivers of children with unique learning needs, including those with significantly diverse abilities. We support families through every phase of development, equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to navigate complex systems of support.

We  help individuals achieve their goals while promoting growth and acceptance. Recognizing the critical transition into adulthood, we partner with employers to advocate for accessible workplaces, ensuring support extends beyond age 22 and into meaningful, sustainable employment opportunities.  Our mission is to expand cultures of acceptance while addressing the employability gap for neurodivergent individuals.

We invite you to navigate to our "meet our team" tab to explore our team’s backgrounds and expertise.  Additionally, feel free to print our resource, "Questions to Consider When Choosing a Provider," to help guide your decision-making when selecting any professional to support your family.

Learning Through Activity, Adventure, and Connection

At Empowered, our workshops and retreats are activity-based (adult for play!) or adventure-driven—because we believe that movement, exploration, and time in nature nurture the mind, body, and spirit. We offer adventure along a continuum, for those of you trying something new for the first time to the well-seasoned adventurer seeking exciting, high-energy experiences!

Trying new things, stepping outside our comfort zones, and facing challenges together fosters trust, connection, and shared success. This, in turn, encourages emotional risk-taking, allowing us to open up, share, and grow—not just as individuals, but as a collective tribe.

Great educators use this same approach with students—what they call multi-sensory or kinesthetic learning. Pairing activity with skill-building helps reinforce concepts, makes difficult conversations feel less intimidating, builds self-confidence, and reduces stress. The benefits aren’t just for kids—active learning is a game-changer for adults too!
